Bible, the most popular book in the world clearly tells us about history, the current age and the times and the future to come. It contains 66 books. 39 in the old testament and 27 in the new testament. The whole book is about Jesus Christ through whom man can get to know God and come into an everlasting relationship with Him.

Hebrews 1:1 & 2 tells us that

1 Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets.

2 And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son(Jesus Christ) as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 says

16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness..

An unknown author once said:

“The Bible reveals the mind of God, the state of man, the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers. Its doctrines are holy, its precepts are binding, its histories are true and its decisions are immutable.

Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy. It contains light to direct you, food to support you, and comfort to cheer you.

It is the traveler’s map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot’s compass, the soldier’s sword, and the Christian’s charter. Here Paradise is gained, Heaven opened, and hell disclosed.

Christ is its grand object, our good its design, and the glory of God its end. It shall fill the memory, rule the heart, and guide the feet. Read it slowly, frequently and prayerfully. It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory, and a river of pleasure.

It is given you in life, will be opened in the judgment and be remembered forever. It involves the highest responsibility, promises the highest reward for labor, and condemns all who trifle with its sacred contents.

The Bible contains the word of God. He has spoken everything that mankind needs to know about Him in the Bible. And it is powerful to transform your heart, your thoughts, your actions, your perspective and change your eternal destination to heaven where God himself lives on forever.”

Hebrew 4 vs 12 says

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
